Recently Vineeth Sreenivasan, another directorial debutent shared on the social media that Tovino Thomas will be acting in his second directorial venture Godha as the lead actor which will be released in the summer of 2020.

Earlier in the news it came to light that Basil Joseph has solved the content problems in his second film Kunjiramayanam.[6] He recently revealed in an interview that one of the biggest issue he saw during the making of the movie was the absence of a dense forest area in the story, so he had to then look for a similar forest area with many trees around and surrounded by a big village area in Elanthukal in Idukki district.[7]

Basil Joseph began his career in the 2013 film Thira for which he assisted Vineeth Sreenivasan. His second film directorial venture Kunjiramayanam was a box office success at the box office during 2016 with big budget and budgeted family entertainer. In 2017, he made his first Punjabi film Godha which was a commercial success. Basil Joseph started his Tovino Thomas second directional venture Minnal Murali where Tovino will play the role of a legendary homegrown superhero for the first time.
