May I bring a camera? We as a venue, traditionally allow regular point and shoot cameras only. Video is not allowed inside of the building. Professional cameras (anything that is larger than the palm of your hand and/or has detachable lenses) are not allowed into the building unless you have a photo pass which the headlining band must pre-approve. Occasionally, bands do not allow any cameras at all (we usually find this out on the day of the event once all of the bands have arrived.) If this is the case, the front door security staff will ask you bring your camera back to your vehicle before you enter.
But, before installing security cameras in apartment buildings, savvy landlords familiarize themselves with California apartment security camera laws governing what property owners can and cannot do with security cameras.
Shared common areas within the building can have security cameras. For instance, landlords can install security cameras in a lobby, gym or pool area, shared kitchen, hallways, or storage areas. They also may install security cameras outside the building at entrances and exits.
Thanks for teaching us more about hotel security! One thing that you said that I really liked was that you should look into updating the locks every so often so that the people who are staying there feel safe. We have been thinking about going on vacation this upcoming week, and I think that this would be one thing that we should ask before booking a certain hotel. Thanks again! 2b1af7f3a8
